TERMS & CONDITIONS

All the number of pictures /duration of video mentioned are an average number/length, number/length can be more/less depending on the type of event.

Client is requested to give the accurate/half an hour time before of actual call time for all events except wedding
Waiting time of more than an hour will be charged extra @1000rs per shooter oer.
Number of pictures mentioned in the deliverable are the average number of pictures we give in an event. Number of pictures can be a lot more or less than what is mentioned depending on candid moments we get to click in the event.
Wedding will be covered from Bride/Groom getting ready till vidai. Vidai will be covered from the venue at max 6 am, stretchable to 7am. After that, the next day's charge will be counted.
Delivery Time: 20-30 Days from the date of event (Pictures and Traditional Video)
20-30 Days (Cinematic Promo)
30-40 Days (Long Version Cinematic)

P.S. Delivery time will start from the payment date of the second installment.

Delivery will be done in the hard disk provided by client.
Online: Via Dropbox transfer or Google Drive Link.

Storage Duration and Fee:

The client shall give pictures for albums printed within 6 months after the wedding date. If the client decides to get the albums printed later, pricing of albums available at that time will be applicable.
Weddings Knots will hold the data for a maximum of three months after the delivery of data.
If we do not receive photos for albums or any corrections/Changes in the time period of three months, Weddings Knots will delete the complete data and can't be held responsible for deletion of data.
Weddings Knots provide 3 year data protection and storage for an additional cost of Rs 5,000/-. Clients can avail this facility with the payment of Rs 5,000 with the booking amount.
This facility can only be availed before delivery of data.

Albums will be provided in a time of 3 weeks, after selected pictures are provided by the client.

No data will be provided to the client until the discussed amount has been paid. We do not accept any changes in payment terms after the wedding.
• All goods remain with the photographer until paid for in full by the client(s). We DO NOT entertain requests of delivering the data before clearing out the payment, or holding the payments till the albums are made. That is why we charge separately for our services & separately for albums.

• We are not entitled to be present on any further event if the discussed instalment is not paid as per the terms..

**Whatever dates & functions are fixed at the time of the payment are considered to be the final details. If there is any addition in the functions, photographers, videographers, albums etc, the charges will be extra.

If a function is cancelled there will be no refund for it as we block your dates at the time of the payment & we do not take any other assignments for the same day. The client needs to pay extra for it.

Issues during Shoots

• For a booking involving a banquet/hall ceremony or at certain venues, the photographer’s movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer’s choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.

• Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors of our cameras, some colors may alter throughout a set of photographs, which cannot be fixed.

• The Photographer and team will not be held responsible for any lighting issue during the shoot as it is up to the clients to organize the venue and brief them about the kind of lighting and stage setup. There is a lot of difference in cheap LED lighting & floodlights using warm colors.

• If you have planned a special entry for the bride / groom, please ensure that NO spot light is used as it creates unnecessary under exposed & over exposed areas simultaneously hence which ruins the photos. Also if you have any dancers / performers who will be entering with the bride/ groom, please ensure that they DO NOT come in the way of the photographers & the bride & the groom.

• We work on a First-Come-First-Serve basis. We do NOT take any verbal bookings. We confirm the booking & availability only once the 50% advance amount is paid.

• There are times when the relatives / friends personally ask us to e-mail their pictures to them. Short listing 4-5 pictures in thousands of pictures is a tedious task for us hence, if requested by anyone, we politely tell them to take all pictures from the clients & we keep the client as our one and only point of contact.

• We use DSLR cameras for shooting which do not have the plug/cord for live streaming of the events on the screens. If you require Live streaming of the baraat, jaimala, etc then kindly inform us at the time of the booking. Those cameras can be provided at extra charges.

• Every wedding is different in terms of the couple, lighting, décor, people’s reactions to the camera, hence it’s impossible for us to replicate a shot / a concept which you have already seen on our profile or anywhere else. We request our clients to let us work freely & give our best in the given circumstances.

Cancellation policy:

1) Booking Amount will not be refunded if complete project is cancelled due to any reason

2) If Pre-wedding is taken in a package and the client is unable to avail the shoot, due to any reason. No amount will be deducted in the final quote.

4) In case client cancels or is unable to avail any service mentioned in package i.e. pre wedding/album or any other, No refund will be given for the same.

5) In Case Wedding gets Postponed due to any reason, the booking amount will only be adjusted if we get the information of the same 1 months prior to the wedding. Else booking amount will not be adjusted and if the client wishes to book us for the new date, a complete new contract will be shared with the new booking amount.

6) In case of wedding postponement or cancellation due to lockdown or tavel ban in accordance with government rules/covid protocols, the advance amount will either be adjusted to new date or refunded in case Weddings Knots is not able to provide the services.

Changes/Correction

1) After delivery of pictures, traditional video and cinematic video, the client will be given two weeks to review the work from the date of delivery.

2) In that period, we advise clients to make double copies of the deliverable.

3) If we didn't hear anything within one month, we will assume that deliverables are in order and doesn't require any correction/changes and we can go ahead with deletion of data.

4) Weddings Knots will not be responsible for loss of data afterwards.

5) If any changes are required by the client, we will take maximum 30 days to implement the changes and deliver the same.

6) Client will be allowed to suggest changes in Cinematic video with a maximum of 2 rounds. After 2 rounds, any other change will incur extra cost.

**Terms and Conditions:

1) The quoted price doesn’t include boarding & lodging for the team. (for assignments outside New Delhi). Custom fees, Visa, Luggage Charges and or any other travel charges are not included in the quoted price and will be charged extra as per actual.

*2) Outstation(outside Delhi/NCR) travel, stay is to be provided by the client. Boarding, Lodging and food is to be provided at par with guests failing which it shall be considered as an immediate cancellation of the shoot from client’s end and no images or video shall be delivered or requests for the same entertained. For travel outside Delhi by our own car/vehicle, flat pricing of 12rs per km will be charged alongside other travel, stay and food expenses.

3) We shall have only one point of contact which can be bride & groom/either parent/family member/friend etc. whom we shall liaise with and take constructive instructions from. We are not answerable to random guests/relatives/friends/family etc. in any manner whatsoever.
4) In case of any natural calamity like Rain, our team will not be clicking pictures as our equipment will get damaged.

5) In case of any misbehavior done to any member of the team by any guest present at the ceremony, we will be forced to pack-up instantaneously. And we also assure there will be no misbehavior from any of our team members towards any present guest at the event.

6) In occurrence of above mentioned cases (point 4 and 5), client will have to pay total cost as quoted above.

7) Weddings Knots shall have intellectual property rights over all the pictures that are shot.

9) Weddings Knots shall retain the rights to use the pictures that are shot during your wedding/ other events, to showcase our work to the other prospective clients or to participate in competitions or for any other relevant purpose.

10) In case of Travel to cities outside Delhi/NCR, if Bus,Train or Flight gets delayed (especially in winters due to fog), then Weddings Knots will not be held responsible for it and no deduction in fee will be accepted if we are not be able to capture any event due to it.

11) In case Album is to be delivered outside Delhi/NCR, courier charges to be borne by client in Advance.

12) After delivery of the data, if we don't hear anything from you in three months regarding any change in traditional video or any query regarding delivered pictures. we will assume that delivered data is in order and we can delete the data. Weddings Knots cannot be held responsible for the deleted data afterwards.

13) Any dispute or difference between the parties under this contract shall be settled by Arbitration in accordance with the Rules under Arbitration Act 1996, and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on both the parties. Only the Courts of Delhi will have jurisdiction to any matter related to this agreement.

All disputes, if any are subjected to New Delhi Jurisdiction only.

14) Design for the album shall be provided to the client for approval and once finalized the same can’t be changed.

15) Extra photos can be edited for 100rs/photo. For any changes in video editing charges @500rs per minute is applicable.

Force Majeure

If in the case of Force majeure any event is cancelled then the client will make full payment to Weddings Knots . If datis destroyed or damaged due to force majeure events, Weddings Knots will not be held responsible. In case the data is destroyed due to mishandling by Weddings Knots, the partial/full payment will be refunded amounting for the lost data.

“Force Majeure Event” - This contract/project is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, act of terror, political unrests, theft, technical snags, death, injury or illness, accident, act of God or any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Weddings Knots.

In Case, if the selected Weddings Knots Photographer is not in good health to shoot the event or due to any mishappening , he will be replaced by another senior photographer of the firm. In this case we make sure the quality of work is maintained throughout and the client will be informed in advance. There will not be any deductions because of the absence of a particular shooter if another shooter is being provided.

For all Destination Weddings –

It is mandatory that we have at least 1 room in the same hotel where the wedding is happening / where the bride & groom & their respective families are staying because of the following reasons -

• When staying at another hotel, we have to pack & unpack all the equipment that we have which takes a minimum of an hour.

• We miss shooting last minute ceremonies/rituals/or in case they start early.

• We have to leave 1 team member back at the other hotel to take care of the expensive equipment which we will not be getting at the location. If we are staying at the same location then we can always leave some equipment in the room & get it whenever required.

• Data transfer is also one of the most important reasons to stay at the venue. Since wedding shoots are really hectic, hence it is easier for us if we are at the same venue.

Agreement:

1. It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties.

2. Weddings Knots reserves the right to modify the terms but not during a particular ongoing contract. The clients will be informed before any modifications.

3. We request the clients to kindly go through the said terms.

4. On the wedding day, the candid photographers remain available till 4 am, any ceremonies (Vidaai) happening after 4 am will be shot by a traditional team.

5. Our services are available till the Vidaai, at the location; we do not travel to the client’s house for the Greh Pravesh, or any other ceremonies happening at some other venue apart from the wedding venue. On request, a photographer can be sent to the house, at additional charges. Also for this, we should be informed at the time of the booking and not on the day of the wedding.

6. We do not shoot while lunch/dinner, that is when people are eating. Our team also takes a half an hour break and eats at the same time.

7. The photographer agrees that the package priced and confirmed will not hike for the said party for the booked event unless the party requests to add more photographers or demands more paid services. Including more manpower, extra working hours, albums, photo booths, etc.

8. The photographer agrees that every effort will be made to provide the highest quality photographic services in the prevailing conditions.

9. The photographer will discuss and short list with the couple prior to the wedding to outline the normal shooting plan at every wedding.

10. While booking the photographer, you have taken into consideration the photographer’s style and are granting artistic license in all aspects relating to the photography of your wedding.

11. We also request the Client to inform the Venue Staff about our Arrival so that there are no complications in terms of checking, pass, parking and other issues at the time of the event to avoid any time wastage and help them understand the level of work being carried out.

12. At the venue, the food for the whole team is on the client. In case we are asked to eat out, bills will be presented to you.

13. The Client shall provide all the special requests for example special coverage of certain guests, prior to the start of the event. Weddings Knots shall not be responsible for not providing certain coverage which has not been told beforehand and agreed upon by both the client and Weddings Knots.

14. Weddings Knots does not take responsibility for capturing photos of each and every one present at the event until and unless extra team members are allocated for the same after client’s requirement for the same. One or more extra team of traditional photographer is required in case of the need of capturing every guest at the event depending upon event size.

15. Weddings Knots will provide the best quality of work possible, but Weddings Knots will not take responsibility for personal satisfaction of the client. The client is hiring Weddings Knots based on previous work and reviews and Weddings Knots will give its best to provide satisfactory work according to the client but the same can’t be guaranteed to be delivered.

16. In events like weddings, most of the times close family members are not present at the forefront of the event happenings due to which sometimes pictures of those said members don’t turn to be in huge numbers thus the client is advised to ask photographers of Weddings Knots to get their close ones pictures clicked and have portrait sessions at the events so as there is no problem of missing pictures of certain members afterwards.

Copyright and Usage

Weddings Kots retain copyright to all the images and video shot and edited by Weddings Knots for promotional or educational purposes in both online and print medium.

As artists we consider each picture or video as a piece of art created by us and thus would want to showcase it. However, we will not be using it for any commercial purpose. We will not be selling these images,video and will use the images, videos

purely to demonstrate the work that we have done. In cases where a client does not want the pictures to be displayed anywhere, we will be charging a higher photography and videography fee.

Privacy

All images are the copyright of Weddings Knots . Images uploaded are watermarked and in the lowest resolution possible so as to ensure they are not misused. We also request the clients to upload only watermarked images online.
